From the fourteenth century to the beginning of the sixteenth century, it's representing the period from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance.

Here to be admired are works by Bernado Daddi (one of Giotto's best pupils), Giovanni Bellini (Venice), Cosme Tura (Ferrara), Giovanni Boccati, Jacopo Sellajo (Florence), the magnificent Rimini Triptych (fourteenth century), two works by Lorenzo di Credi and in particular The Virgin with Child supported by an angel under a garland, a major early work from Sandro Botticelli.
